We're not playing with power...
Nintendo released a new 2DS promotional video. Normally, this wouldn't be news. But this particular video incorporates the new red Nintendo logo and a new slogan,
"There's no play like it".
I'm already hearing some backlash on the internet to this new slogan with most saying that it reinforces Nintendo's "kiddy" image near the launch of a make-or-break new console most think may be targeted to ingratiate Nintendo with the "Hardcore". I agree on this charge, but I'm not convinced this is a permanent change. I'm still hopeful that at the launch of the NX, Nintendo will make a new marketing push with a new identity.
